MESH BODYSUIT C/O AKIRA (here)
SATIN DRESS / PRETTYLITTLETHING
VELVET BOMBER C/O SHEIN (here)
MINIMALIST HEELS / GOJANE
Finally some mesh!!! It’s so cool to layer it, especially under unexpected pieces like a satin slip dress. The combo incorporates both feminine and edgy pieces that really gives it a *cough* Underworld vibe. There’s just something about vampires that is romantic, yet kick-ass. This mesh bodysuit from AKIRA is a thong so it’s basically invisible under a delicate fabric like satin. Recently picked up another mesh item at Forever 21, somebody stop me. Also, I bought a pair of enormous black platforms. I need to show you all…….

I love my new biker jacket more and more each time I wear it, and this outfit hit peak #lovelevels. I wore a killer lace up tee, courtesy of Forever 21, which I had actually tried on in-store. I really like the laced up tee shirt trend, and of course I had to have it in black. My new boots, though, were an impulse buy. I originally wanted the Tony Bianco ankle boots, which are idetnical, but Public Desire always comes in clutch. Any footwear that’s trending….you’ll find it on Public Desire. If you all remember from older posts, I have some cylindrical heel ankle boots, but I ended up noticing that they scrunch around my ankles because your girl has lil’ tiny ankles. This new pair, which still feature a block heel, are tight around my heel and are EXACTLY what I wanted. They are Lycra, and are stretchy and very comfortable. I do, however, recommend that you size up. I am a 6 1/2 and I usually size down because PD does not offer half sizes. Usually their shoes run slightly bigger, but because of the material of these boots you NEED to wear socks to get them on. Therefor, the size 6 is a really snug fit, and a 7 would have been better for me. **This is only a recommendation, because everybody is different. In other news, there’s a new collab coming up soon with AKIRA Chicago!
After talking so much about Korean this, and Korean that, I’ve decided to share my personal Korean Skincare Routine because it’s the shit. So, for starters I got into Korean skincare, because I first got into their fashion. The fashion and beauty industry in South Korea go hand-in-hand. They have the latest, and THE BEST. Have you noticed the foundation cushion wave recently? Maybelline, L’Oreal, and even MAC have came out with their own cushion compacts, which have been around in South Korea for 8 years already. Beautiful skin is as important as what you’re wearing. Next, how did I find these products? I watch alot of Korean Youtubers, and many of them do reviews on products and recommend their favorite sites. This is how I found out about Peachandlily.com, my go-to for the majority of my skincare routine. This website even breaks down the Korean Skincare steps for you, and they are as follows:
- Oil Based
- Water Based
- SERUMS & AMPOULES
Seems like an infinite amount of steps, I know, but remember that consistency is key. So, you DON’T have to follow the entire process, and you can even pick and choose which steps are best for you. Toner dries my skin even more than it already is, so I’ve skipped it all together. Peach & Lily also allows you to pick products according to your concern: Acne, dryness, dullness, oiliness, pores, and uneven skin texture/tone. I don’t have troublesome skin, but it is so dry that I will break out if I don’t hydrate it properly. I also have a lack of radiance, and uneven skin texture/tone. I’ve been going through my personal skincare routine since August 2016, and I’ve seen amazing changes in my face. Did I mention that my makeup looks even better on than before? The exact order that I put on my products in is: Banila Co. Clean it Zero, Cerave Foaming Facial Cleanser (not Korean), The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid (not Korean but vital for the moisture my face lacks), Mizon Essence, Be The Skin Serum, and finally the Aromatica Calendula Cream.
I hope some of you might’ve found this useful. My Korean obsession continues….

MOTO JACKET / ZARA
For the first time in my life, I’ve worn a patterned top. Not any pattern. STARS. I once saw the owner of SaboSkirt, Thessy, wear a polka-dot top and I fell in love. Did I have the courage to wear something similar at that time…of course not. But the time has come, and IT’S LIT (jk, but for real it is). This Forever 21 top has subtle lace up detailing that only adds to the stars. I styled this outfit with a 70’s vibe in mind, hence the yellow tinted sunglasses. For being totally out of my comfort zone, I definitely felt most confident while shooting this outfit. A huge hug for the Forever 21 team, for allowing this collab to happen! More looks to come.
Have you been listening to my likes on Soundcloud? I update it daily, and I’ve been listening to Che Ecru’s Benefits on r e p e a t. Lastly, want to know where I get outfit inspo from? Check out my Tumblr, and my Pinterest! Hopefully you’ll find something that inspires you too. XOXO

JEANS C/O FOREVER 21 (here)
BOOTS / PUBLIC DESIRE
If anybody as short as me has noticed, jeans can be very scary. They scrunch, they’re always sold out, and online shopping can be a nightmare. If a model is 5’9, and the jeans fit her perfectly at her ankle, just exit your browser. But what happens when a petite girl gets angry/creative? A DIY, that’s what. In this collaboration with Forever 21, I strategically picked out flare jeans with the sole intention of hacking off a chunk of the hem. Cropped flares look effortless on tall women, and I wanted a pair (that didn’t cost me an arm or leg, too). Why pay $60.00 for jeans that you can cut at home? This pair from Forever 21 are already distressed and have an interesting wash, so all that was missing was turning them into a pair that suit ME. Here’s how:
- Put your flares on and fold them as much as your heart desires. (Cropped flares are about 2 inches above the ankle)
- Secure them with pins and carefully take them off.
- Lay them flat on the floor and with measuring tape, measure the length you have folded.
- Remove the pins, measure the length you got in step 3 starting from the hem up, and draw a line with a white crayola where the measurement ends.
- Cut across, and distress with sandpaper or the blade of your scissors (or throw them in the wash and dryer, they all work).
- Wear them and rejoice in the fact that you saved about $3o.

In collaboration with Forever 21, I present to you my favorite shoot to date. I’ve picked up a couple of sweaters at Forever 21 before, but I have to say that I was absolutely surprised by the quality of this one in particular. I LOVE that the sleeves are extra long, because they gave me those Korean style vibes I’m into right now. So, sleeves [check], but what about the material? This sweater is T H I C K. The sweater alone kept me warm during the shoot, without having to layer a jacket over it. Next, the holy grail: my new ring belt. I’ve literally seen it on Korean celebrities, aswell as on the streets of Seoul. I had to do it, and I didn’t think twice about it. No regrets.
If you liked this outfit, stay tuned for more looks I’ve put together with Forever 21! #sponsored

The coolest prescription frames have officially launched their Spring 2017 collection! I love the minimalistic approach of both the frames and the color options. My favorites from the collection, shown above, are Caspar and Durand. I’ve actually decided to use the site’s “home try-on” option, which allows you to pick 5 frames to try on at home for 5 days, free! Not sure what style of eyeglasses are best for you? Take their quiz here. Nobody said eyeglasses can’t be funky.
