In collaboration with Forever 21, I present to you my favorite shoot to date. I’ve picked up a couple of sweaters at Forever 21 before, but I have to say that I was absolutely surprised by the quality of this one in particular. I LOVE that the sleeves are extra long, because they gave me those Korean style vibes I’m into right now. So, sleeves [check], but what about the material? This sweater is T H I C K. The sweater alone kept me warm during the shoot, without having to layer a jacket over it. Next, the holy grail: my new ring belt. I’ve literally seen it on Korean celebrities, aswell as on the streets of Seoul. I had to do it, and I didn’t think twice about it. No regrets.

If you liked this outfit, stay tuned for more looks I’ve put together with Forever 21! #sponsored

FRESH FRAMES

The coolest prescription frames have officially launched their Spring 2017 collection! I love the minimalistic approach of both the frames and the color options. My favorites from the collection, shown above, are Caspar and Durand. I’ve actually decided to use the site’s “home try-on” option, which allows you to pick 5 frames to try on at home for 5 days, free! Not sure what style of eyeglasses are best for you? Take their quiz here. Nobody said eyeglasses can’t be funky.

PATENT SNAKESKIN

SWEATER C/O SHEIN (here)
PATENT SKIRT / MISSGUIDED
THIGH HIGHS / BOOHOO (here)

Patent, patent, patent. I need everything patent. I was once told that texture gives black outfits life, and it is very true. I wore this patent mini from Missguided (sold out ages ago), with some suede thigh highs I scored on Boohoo for $25 dollars during one of their weekly sales, yes weekly. Boohoo will offer up to 50% off sitewide once a week, more-less. My last three pairs of shoes, including the patent chelseas from the last post, were purchased from Boohoo for 50% off. I recommend the site for shoes, as they are the same as Public Desire, for example, but I do not recommend the clothing. Shoes run big so size down! Next, the sweater….I know, its RED. I picked this up, thanks to Shein, in hopes of adding another piece that is currently popular in Seoul (shop 2 other red sweaters I loved here, and here). I’ve seen Koreans wear an oversized bright red sweater paired with lightwash jeans, all white trainers, and killer makeup. Continuing with my Korean obsession, I will be sharing my favorite Korean skincare items soon! You need to try it.
