I missed expressing myself so much. I get mental blocks sometimes but it’s funny how the outcomes of my own life give me the creativity I felt I was lacking. I’m a very emotional individual, but my own emotions helped me create this project alongside a dear friend of mine (@organic.honey_). It really blew my mind that she listened to me, understood the mood and concept I wanted, and truly put it together in front of my eyes. In order to understand this project, I recommend you listen to the song that inspired it in the first place. You cannot understand my emotions or train of thought, but this song conveys them perfectly. EVERGLADE is my interpretation of the repercussions of love. I know that to most people this seemed like a well put together outfit shoot, but “point-and-shoot” content has become progressively boring. Also big thanks to (@shhbbyisokay) for jumping in and taking additional shots.

Hoping to continue to create better content for my platforms! Happy Friday

Let me know what you’d want to watch if I started a Youtube channel. Still contemplating it, but it would allow me to expand DBD! Leave a comment if what you’re interested in is not on the poll already.

WHAT I WORE: COLORBLOCK

DENIM/ ASOS
HEELS/ GOJANE
BAG/ FOREVER 21

Mondays, ew. I wanted to share a quick outfit for chilly days, wearing an oversized sweatshirt. I have been picking up all types of solid sweatshirts, tees, and long sleeves, to layer in the winter (praying it comes to Texas soon). This sweatshirt, though, has a simple little twist to it. I’m wearing a medium for that extra comfy look!

WHAT I WORE: ZAFUL LACE BRA TOP

DENIM/ ASOS
WHITE CROP/ FOREVER 21
BOOTS/ BOOHOO

So first things first, as I explained in my baby tee post, the way to achieve the look is to buy a kids tee and cut it. I realized that while I was typing that post, and after I had taken these pictures, which is why the crop in this post has a scoop neck. It would have definitely looked much better with the cut kids tee, but hey, you live and you learn. The lace bra top, though, is one of my favorite pieces in my closet as of lately. If I’m daring enough, I’ll wear it by itself with a blazer on top when it gets cooler. So some of you might have heard of Zaful, and some of you might be absolutely clueless. I personally thought the price range was great, and the selection of clothing was trendy. Here are my top three pieces from Zaful: 1, 2, and 3. Aside from those, you can shop the bralette I am wearing here, and you can check out how I felt about the packaging here. I had never tried anything like this, but the layering trend going on right now is not bad at all. I am currently looking into purchasing a silky slip dress, and a silky top. Wish me luck.

WHAT I WORE: NECESSARY CROP

Pants: Missguided
Penelope Bolo Tie: Glass Onion (here)

Going nuts over this knot-front top from Necessary Clothing. I though the tie front would be a bit girly for my taste, but it won me over with the deep neckline. I threw on the Penelope Bolo Tie from Glass Onion, which you can score for $4.00, yeah I said it. I love the simplicity of it, and it’s my go-t0 accessory at the moment. I’d wear this particular look to a special event, like my bestfriend’s graduation. You can switch out the pants for some distressed denim shorts, and lace up heels for a summer party. Want this crop top for yourself? It’s currently on sale, shop it here!
